A Day In Bandung (Assignment 1 - Bahasa Inggris Bisnis 2)

A DAY IN BANDUNG

Hello!

If you only have time for one day to fill your holiday in Indonesia, I recommend you to stroll enjoying the culinary and shopping in Bandung. Bandung is the capital city of West Java, and the third largest city in Indonesia after Jakarta and Surabaya. Nicknamed Parijs van Java (the Paris of Java) by the Dutch for its resemblance to Paris and European atmosphere back at the colonial times. Bandung also earned another nickname as the Kota Kembang, literally meaning the Flower City Bandung since used to have a lot of flowers.

Starting from the breakfast, you can choose one of them. Among others, batagor, chicken porridge Bandung, kupat tahu, etc. But my favorite is batagor. Batagor abbreviation of Bakso Tahu Goreng (fried meatball tofu). Bandung people already very close to these food, so it's not hard finding Batagor. Start batagor are sold at the roadside, until the famous brand of Batagor. One of them is Batagor Burangrang locataed on JL. Burangrang. After you feel full, let’s go shopping tour around Bandung’s Factory Outlets. There are countless factory outlets here. Along Jl. Dago, along Jl. Riau, also along Jl. Cihampelas. Time for lunch! Nasi liwet, Soto Bandung, and dishes typical of West Java is good to lunch. No need to worry finding the food, because there are so many restaurants in here. One of the food stalls that very famous in Bandung is Warung Makan Ampera located at Jl. Soekarno Hatta. This place already has a lot of branches outside of Bandung. After that, let’s get to know the culture of West Java. Let’s go to Saung Angklung Udjo on JL. Padasuka. Saung Angklung Udjo (SAU) is a one-stop cultural workshop, consists of: performance venue, bamboo crafts centre, and bamboo instrument workshop. Apart from that, SAU has an honorable function as an educational laboratory and training centre to preserve the Angklung Sundanese culture – in particular.

Temperatures in the Bandung City is quite cool about 23.5 ℃, so reasonably to get hungry over againSipping hot tea or hot coffee accompanied with Surabi Bandung is the right choice in afternoon. One of my favorite spots is Kafe Enhaii, located on Jl. Setia Budi. After that, let's shop some Bandung special’s cake to take to your country. The most popular store in Bandung is Amanda and Kartika Sari. The favorite of Amanda is Brownies Kukus, whereas in Kartika Sari is Banana Bollen. For dinner, I think a romantic dinner is a good idea. The located of Dago is higher than the others, so we can see all over Bandung city from here, and in the night all we can is the city lights. There are so many restaurants or cafes here, among others The Valley, Dago Tea House, Kampung Daun, etc.

That's my advice, and enjoy Bandung!
